Statistics show that liposuction is currently the most popular cosmetic surgery in America.
A reported 400,000 procedures are done yearly on both men and women.
“All cosmetic surgery is booming, increasing,” says Dr. Craig Roberts, who has performed the surgery on both men and women.
Mother Has Surgery Filmed
Susan, who is the mother of four, was so confident in her decision to get liposuction that she allowed her local news channel to film the process as it happened.
She believes that although there is a negative stigma that goes along with getting cosmetic procedures, there are parts of her body that just simply wouldn’t slim down after four pregnancies, even with exercise and diet.
Finding a Trustworthy Doctor
Susan says she researched several doctors before finding one that she knew she could trust to do the safest and most effective job.
She reportedly consulted with her chosen surgeon, Dr. Roberts, for over a year before heading into the operating room.
“If they don’t have reasonable expectations, if you’re not going to really help them or give them what they want, you really wouldn’t want to do it,” explains Dr. Roberts.
“I think this is a personal decision that makes me feel better,” says Susan.
